La figure 1 montre une paire de chapes typiques, conformes \u00e0 la norme ASTM E399 (r\u00e9f\u00e9rence 1). Les chapes sont g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement fabriqu\u00e9es en acier inoxydable 17-4PH mais peuvent \u00eatre fabriqu\u00e9es dans d'autres mat\u00e9riaux tels que l'acier inoxydable 440C durci, en fonction des besoins.\u00a0<\/p>\n\t<p>Les trois paires de chapes de traction de diff\u00e9rentes tailles illustr\u00e9es \u00e0 la figure 2 ont \u00e9t\u00e9 fabriqu\u00e9es en acier inoxydable, avec des broches en acier inoxydable 440C tremp\u00e9.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/wyomingtestfixtures.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/fracture-toughness-tensile-clevices_1.jpg\" alt=\"r\u00e9sistance \u00e0 la rupture-leviers de traction_1\" itemprop=\"image\" title=\"r\u00e9sistance \u00e0 la rupture-leviers de traction_1\" onerror=\"this.style.display='none'\" loading=\"lazy\" \/>\n\t<p>Fig. 2 : Trois paires de chapes de traction de tailles diff\u00e9rentes.<\/p>\n\t<p>D'autres mod\u00e8les de chapes et de raccords sp\u00e9ciaux de toutes tailles et configurations sont disponibles, ou peuvent \u00eatre con\u00e7us et fabriqu\u00e9s pour r\u00e9pondre aux exigences sp\u00e9cifiques de toute application aux essais sur m\u00e9taux, composites, plastiques ou c\u00e9ramiques. Il existe un certain nombre de normes \u00e0 cet effet. Par exemple, la r\u00e9f\u00e9rence 2 est une norme ASTM applicable aux essais sur les plastiques, tandis que la r\u00e9f\u00e9rence 3 concerne les composites \u00e0 matrice polym\u00e8re. Les r\u00e9f\u00e9rences 4 et 5 sont des normes ASTM suppl\u00e9mentaires pour les m\u00e9taux.
